How to place an order
Placing an order
If you decide to place an order for a fixed-price Family History package or for a specific piece of bespoke genealogical research work, I will email you a Statement of Work itemising the work that you have asked me to do, along with the cost, scheduled start date and estimated elapsed time to complete.
I will also provide a full copy of my Terms and Conditions and present a PayPal Invoice for the cost or deposit.
Once I have received your order confirmation in writing and you have made the agreed payment, I can then schedule the research.

Payment
My preferred method of payment is through PayPal. This is a safe and proven method which can handle international currencies.
I can also accept electronic bank transfers to my Irish bank account. In addition, I do accept bank drafts and cheques made payable to Michael Walsh, but please understand that it can take several weeks for cheques in international currencies to clear.
If you would prefer to pay by another method, please contact me and I will try to accommodate you.
Refund guarantee
If the family chosen proves to be impossible to trace due, for example, to the absence of civil or church records, then I offer a Refund Guarantee.
Only work completed will be charged and you will receive a pro-rata refund for work that cannot be completed.
